ITU-T Standardization & Study Groups

The workshop on "ITU-T Standardization & Study Groups" was held on 24 July 2019 by Dr. Alireza Yari.

​​​​​​​Standardization work is carried out by the Technical Study Groups (SGs) in which representatives of the ITU-T membership develop standards for the various fields of international telecommunications.

In this workshop the ITU organization, study groups, important databases and ITU-T SG20 work items from 2019 to 2020 were introduced.

OMNET++

The training workshop on "OMNET++" was held on 13-17 July 2019 by Assoc.Prof Alfonso Ariza Quintana, Departamento de Tecnología Electrónica E.T.S.I. Telecomunicación , Malaga University, Malaga, Spain.

• OMNET++ Advanced
• Microcontroller ESP32

Moreover, special discussions on one of the most recently technology, Internet of Things (IoT), is also held in this workshop. In this regard, ESP32 microcontroller is introduced and participants learn how to connect it to the sensors and wireless networks in order to fetch gathered data by sensors and also send commands to it.The participants installed and worked with Eclipse, JDK, and control environment of this microcontrolle.
