Radio Group Main Acrivities

The Radio Communication Group (RCG)  is one of the subdivisions of the Communication Technology Faculty. The main activities of the group are:

  • Localization, design and implementation in radio communications field (fixed and mobile)
  • Consulting, futures research and radio communication strategy (fixed and mobile)

This group focus on consulting, defining, implementing and monitoring projects related to group main activities. Projects in various areas include radio transmission systems, narrowband and broadband wireless systems and networks, spectrum management, antenna and propagation, and radiation health.

New communication technologies in microwave, millimeter wave and Terahertz have always been of interest in this group. The latest generation of cellular communication technologies, wireless data networks for a variety of applications and configurations such as M2M, IoT and … are handled in RCG group.
