The focus of this project contains twofold :
- Embark on the design a road map for IoT business development associated with the Internet of Things in the country as well as to identify the required tasks and processes that must be considered in the implementation of the ecosystem
- Present an effective action plans to the ministry of ICT that identifies the key objectives and how they will be achieved
Anticipated steps to achieve the following strategic objectives:
- Create a road map for the Internet of Things
- Identify influential actors with knowledge about the implementation of the ecosystem in the country
- Determine a set of action plans in the following fields for the dissemination of the Internet of Things across the country:
- Infrastructure development
- Introduce ideas, services related to the Internet of Things
- Provide the Ministry of ICT's regulatory authority oversight and supervision over the legal, security and monitoring aspects of the Internet of Things
- Encourage participation of the private sectors and market enterprises in the provision of Internet of Things products and services
- Initiate business activities associated with the Internet of Things
