The third joint international course between the ICT Research Institute and the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) was held online.

According to the Public Relations of the ICT Research Institute, the course "5G Technology and its applications in practice" was held through the ITU platform in order to familiarize and improve the knowledge and insight of students, researchers, policy makers, experts and specialists interested in 5G.

According to this report, the third joint international course between the ICT Research Institute and the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), which is one of the centers of excellence (COE) in Asia-Pacific and the World Telecommunication Union (ITU), was organized under the title "5G TECHNOLOGY AND APPLICATIONS IN PRACTICE" in collaboration with experts from the University of Sydney, Huawei company, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Vestol Company and the ICT Research Institute.

According to this report, the mentioned course, which was attended by 340 participants from different countries, focused on basic knowledge and evolution of 5G, key technologies and its protocols, standardization and application of 5G in smart health, security and smart city.

It is worth mentioning that Dr. Roghayeh Joda, Dr. Mohammad Akbari and Dr. Mazda Hamdi, the ICT Research Institute faculty members, were the instructors of this course.
